You can't go wrong with a 4speed atlas for the 4400 stuff.
One lever shift from High range to 2.72 works really well for the desert to rock sections.
I run the 3.8 ratio 4spd in mine and love it!

$2200 for an Atlas 2speed, plus $1600 for a Black Box = $3800.

Atlas 4speed = $3300.

Both get you pretty much the same thing.

heres a question, an atlas 2speed set up the way im thinkin (bigger outputs, etc) comes out closer in the price range of $2700, but i cant find a page listing these upgrades for the 4 speed? does the 4 speed already have cool outputs? or are they not available? or am i just missing it? if it comes with all the cool parts for only $600 more then the atlas 4speed is kinda a no brainer

but after listening to carl, really crunching numbers im thinking 5.13s x atlas 3.8(or a 4speed) seems to make for good options on both ends of speed
