Thanks for the fun. :D I'll get those pics sent to Brett as soon as we're online at the same time and he can post em. :) It was a blast, we should do it again some time. :)

It was a good time out there. Little bit of wind but not too bad with thicker coats. WayneXJ came out but tore up his upper track bar mount so he was out pretty earlier on. We do appreciate the extra water that you gave us! Chiksic in her XJ, Keslerjr in his TJ, MoabYJ in his YJ and the Bill in his CJ came out. We played around on the big area of Little Moab, a bit on the smaller first area. The rocks were not providing much traction at all, due to the cold weather and the little bit of frost. The sand was damp as well, causing even less traction for us, so things were a bit more difficult to climb out there. We all drove out to Nutty Putty cave as well. Just something to do for a bit. Someone has installed a sign in/out sheet at the entrance to the cave since I was last there, so that's a good thing. No more people that would go missing for days then.

All in all, a good day out in the west desert. Even if the white XJ was at home the whole time!

Pretty sure that was a guy from Anarchy Offroad.... :)

Nope nope....the "Anarchy" guy was the one in the red CJ-5. That guy was just someone out there wheeling. First trip out with it too. Kind of cool. Toyota axles, as you can see. Still running a carbed Sami motor, so he was having a bit of an issue on the steep stuff. A little too tall for my tastes though. Definately spent some money on the paint though!

I had a great time, and it was very nice to meet you guys. The Sami was out by themselves, and it was a carbed 22r he was running. The guy from Anarchy was in the red CJ, his dad in the white Sahara. I can't remember the guy's name in the red CJ, but he is awesome to wheel with. I've met him out there many times before. He was spotting for the Sami to get him up the crack there at the end. And really, once we get oput there we all know each other right? Bill said he recognized you Brett, I told him to come in and find a solution for that clutch, but by the end of the day yesterday I walked over and he had custom fabbed a 3 inch slip joint at the end of that linkage! Awesome. There is no way it's coming apart now, he's ready to go again. I'm going to have him come over and help me with anything I plan to do to mine. I hope we can hookm up again soon.

I saw the black Jeep come through our camp in the morning. We were the scout troop on the south side of Chimney Rock. I tried to wave him over to have him climb the little section there on the south west corner. I probably saw a couple others also. I didn't see any others at Nutty Putty where we spent a couple hours after lunch.

hehe....that was Judd and I. Sorry that we didn't notice the "come over here" wave.
