Local Trailer Brake Controllers?

I need a Trailer Brake controller... today. I'm looking for something quality, but inexpensive. Any recommended local sources? What can I expect to pay for one from a local dealer? It's for a '99 Ram, of course... much thanks!

I had mine repaired at Oceana Trailers, 8531 S. 700 W. They have a good selection of controllers. Plan on spending over $100 for a good one. Tucumseh makes some pretty killer units, I've been happy with mine.

I got mine at Henderson's in Ogden. I paid about $70 for it. It will control 2 sets of brakes (2 axles).

State Trailer Supply on mine.. Its suppose to be the latest and greatest thing.. Spent 140.00 something back in February on the Prodigy by Tekonsha..Its self adjusts and makes things easy for Dummies, felt this was right up my alley...That and I can swap it into another vehicle in less than a minute..

Also besure you get the adapter from dodge so you don't have to cut into any factory wiring, state trailer also carries this plug.. the factory gives you this when buying the truck so there should be one in your truck already.. I now have an extra  This plug makes it so you don't even have to crawl under the truck and mess with wiring..

yep, the prodigy is what I went with...I got it off amazon for like $70 (brand new:D) several months ago (back when I got my truck, so about last June)...the prodigy is cool because it will apply more brake the harder you brake and can be handle up to 8 brakes (four axles)...I dont htink you'll find a nicer unit than the prodigy...even if you ahve to pay $100+ for it, its a killer box...

I am guessing you already got one but incase you didn't...here is a great deal on the prodigy on amazon (same place I got mine)...its about $7 in shipping, so for under $100 you can have a superior controller;)
