My wife and I are heading up to logans anniversary inn tomorrow for our 3 year anniversary and wondered what good restaurants are out there and dont break the bank?
Elements is good but a little pricey, Beehive grill is owned by the same people as the Moab Brewery. It is very good if you like that kind of stuff. El Toro Viejo is the best Mexican food in town. And then there is always the standard Texas Roadhouse if you want a steak and a lot of noise.
I second Bee Hive grill and Savanna's BBQ is pretty good too. If you like real Mexican food La Tormenta (the name is horrible I know....:-\ ) just North of the Northern Walmart is AWESOME and well priced. The place isn't really fancy or anything but the food is killer imo--I recommend the Bistec Ranchero If you're a beer drinker the White Owl on center st. has a patio/deck upstairs with a pretty good Burger and Chicken sandwich type grill that is nice and relaxing during the afternoon. As for breakfast Angies is about all I'd recommend just because everywhere else sucks lol
The Copper Mill, same owner as Elements not as expensive. they never Disappoint. Cafe Sabor amazing salsa and chips and the best carna asada in town. Le Nonne, Italian that is amazing. You'll be eating with all of the liberals and hippies but good non the less. Or do as rholbrook says and hit Maddox on the drive up.
All of the above are good, but beehive's service brought the suck the last time I was there. I have always really like Hamilton's it is slightly more than some of the others, but you can get a reasonable meal there with great ambiance.
La Tormenta is awesome, but probably not anniversary atmosphere. Buffalo burgers at the white owl are really good. I can't remember, but one night a week the are really cheap too. The Gaucho Grill is really good and a lot of fun too. Fairly expensive. Hamilton's is expensive, but actually has a few more affordable things on their menu. I had REALLY good mushroom raviolis with steak. Maybe best dinner I've ever had.
