Looking for a place to get some Sushi

Any recommendations for a place betweem I-215 and Point of the Mtn? I live in Herriman and don't want to drive up to Kyoto's. This is for date night with wifey on saturday.

I like the Mikado up by Old Mill. It's not the dressiest sushi, but it's some of the best.

I second Mikado's...It's definately good sushi. If ya go there, be sure to try the Jake Roll....Named after a chef there

Nagoya Sushi in the fort Union Family center is great. Not a great atmosphere, but they have great sushi.
Suhiro's at 13th east and fort union is good too. (just went there and had some)

never heard of Nagoya Sushi. I do go to mikados alot and like them more than most places around here. Too bad their happy hour 1/2 promotion is not running.

Ginza on 2nd and 2nd was really good but the last few times I've been there its been subpar.

I was there a fwe weeks ago for the first time. The actual sushi was so so but the show was cool. I thought the guy was going to light my ass on fire with the initial flaming oil blast LOL

SUEHIROis were we went to. It was great! We shared the Sushi platter $18.95 , lots of different pieces. Wife had the squid, bad choice. But we really liked it. Thanks for the help!!!

next time you go in, ask to get one of their locals only cards. you get 1/2 price on all of their sushi (not just the happy hour menu) during lunch every day of the week, and all day saturday.

I have on of thier VIP cards which acts like a local card too. I'll have to ask about the lunch. The last time I heard that killed the 1/2 off after they remodeled teh down town location.
