Looking for new trails

Im not real familiar with the different trails around here other than AF canyon and frankly im getting pretty sick of always going up AF. I'm looking for something that is fun to do that is pretty close to home,we prefer the mountains rather than the desert at this time of year (heat and kids dont mix well) We are not wanting something thats very tough or dangerous something more along the lines of some very scenic trails that get ya up in the high country or back in to the trees/pines we love things like that. I have heard of guardsman's pass but not sure what it is like or how long it is or even if it's worth the time to check it out? I have read a lot on here and found some sweet trails i love but they are all down south (moab or further) and we cant make any trips like that right now. Is there anything up towards kamas/Heber area? I have pretty much explored all of Skyline drive from Fairview south on wheelers over the last few years so that area is kind of getting old. Point me in a direction of pines,creek crossings high elevation and very senic trails

Murdock basin, upper setting road, and Norway Flats out of Kamas. Strawberry ridge, and the Diamond Fork trails off of Spanish Fork Canyon. Duchesne ridge and trails going south to Heber, Strawberry and Current Creek are a few that we like.

Thanks I have done that (used Google), but was looking for more along the lines of someones personal experience on that trail.

Hmm i will have to Google a few of these and check them out. we have Been over every square inch of Strawberry but that area is still always fun, especially in fall when the Elk are in the rut. Thanks for your input
