This September BORRacing is doing their desert race out at Wendover. The focus this year is limited cars/trucks and limited budgets. Im looking for some one who has a car truck jeep that has been sitting in the garage for some time and is looking to bring it to life for a another race. I would like to make several short video clips over the next 6 months of the car going from covered with a tarp to race ready. I have the help of skilled video editing people to help with this project. I also would be happy to use the video to help get some sponsors for the race.
If you know some one who has a car please pass my info along lets get the rebirth of grass roots racing documented.

Wish I had the money to turn my rig into a racer, but it's too old school and would be WAY too much money.

Have you ever been to a bor race? I honestly think your rig is perfect for that race. You don't need GPS you don't need 10,000 dollars and shocks you don't need fresh air systems are any of that other BS.

Current harnesses, window nets, snell approved helmet, fire suit, and a shitload of determination to finish and you'll have a 200 mile experience you'll never forget.

I don't think Barts buggy will go over 40-50 mph.

Wish that weren't true, but it is. I think I'm maxed at 50 mph. The new cooling helped a lot. Before that it was 40 mph.

Hmmm, I have window nets, fire suit, snell helmet. 5 points may be outdated, then there's that determination thing.

Bor races rock.
Point being if you can finish you can place well
I have finished every bor race entered. Over 1000 succesful miles with Bor.

Everyone should give it a go this september in Wendover!

We are having 5 or 6 races for utv's but Wendover will be the only truck/buggy race this year. I know people have videos on you tube search things like Wendover desert race, bor racing, bore racing utah desert race.

So is that the only event that has a stock class for vehicles? Are there other series that have similar races? I'd be pretty interested but wouldn't want to build something for one race.

Score, snore, bitda, norra, hrda, Mdr, and many others have stock classes of one form or another. BOR is the closest option and this year we only have the one race. 2-3 races are in the works for next year.
