lets see some low riders.. your personal rig or others..

when is triming fenders and big tires too much?

or is trimming the more and the bigger tires always best?

personally i think this thing looks goofy ! angelo looked 10293890218 times better rip :(

Here is mine on 42s Ride height is actually 2 inches higher than this since I swapped to 14" 2.5 shocks instead of the 18s in the picture

It takes alot of work to get a rig to sit this low and still have a ton of up travel!!!!

Ryan, we need more pics of your rig.

Unfortunately Its torn down again right now. I spooled the front when I built it wich turned out to be a horrible idea...(Who Knew) lol so I pulled it down and in the process of installing a real locker and redoing the cage and I am going to try to redo the rear suspension before hanging tree but if not I will still rock my coil springs.

And finally build a front bumper for the Dang thing

I am not sure mine counts, its an eb with 3.5" and I have run 40's, I didn't do all the cool stuff like many of you though. I think saws all blades are a lot cheaper than lift.

Here are some of my favorites from that same thread on pirate.

This one is definitely too low, even @ full bump:

And I think Shane's new buggy is the perfect blend between low COG and big tires. Same goes for Chad Schoon's buggy.

steve i think that ones that too low is probably at full bump in that pic

shanes new buggy is awesome!

i think wheelbase comes inti it also.. 120 inch wheel base with 40's and 12 inch belly is going to look stupid and be worthless

but 30 inch frame height and 79 inch wheel base and 33's is going to be just as worthless if not more( and yes i did just make fun of my first samurai!)

mine is a 95 yj stretched to about 114" and sits on 37's with im guessing is about a 4" - 5" lift.. (give or take) it's not super low, but i think it has a very low cog. The first pic is last year in moab on bald 36's, the pic on trailer is just last weekend in httIMAG0445.jpgIMAG1072.jpg

My s#itbox: The tops of the 42's are 2" above the top of the hood at full bump. No big deal.

Oh and the tie rod is mock up only, it won't be hanging down there when it's done.
