I got dpms because I know they are good quality, I've also used bushmaster for the same reason. There are other good brands but I don't know anything about them. Here's a good sight for information. At the bottom of the page they have some guides for assembly.

First website......looks like decent stuff. I have a problem buying from places where the descriptions are spelled wrong, though ;)

Second one has some interesting stuff. Seems like it's a new site, probably still more to add.

I can't remember if it's the upper or the lower that's FFL-shippable.... but for a small fee most gun shops will do it. Shotgun News used to put out a list of private FFL holders too, for stuff like this. :D

DO NOT GET YOUR OWN FFL> one of the stipulations is that the BATF has the right to search your premises at any time of their choosing. At least according to the family friend I bought my guns from. :D He might be wrong buuuuuutttttt

I got a Colt AR-15 A4 Tactical. (Pre-ban stamped, post ban sold "Military and Law Enforcement") Love it! Shipped to Doug's No problem.

Friend of mine did the Rock River. Had it shipped to Doug's. Went well.

Something along the lines of this. I wouldn't do the flash light on the grips though....and I might just do a normal carry handle. Dunno on the vertical fore grip either........

They did away with my M16 and got me one of these... H&K416

My barrel is just a bit shorter...

It is sweeeeet :)

That's not my rifle. I just found it on another website. I haven't done any comps, since I hardly have enough time to get out and practice. Honestly, it's mostly going to be used to target practice and fun. That and going after terrorists, like Cody.
