There are a few things I would change if it were mine... I'd angle the ends of the bumper, and I would definitely add reinforcement to the stinger and I'd add some good D-rings and tabs.

Yea I checked out the xjtalk post. Was gonna ask about your welder. Are you used gas or no? I have a Lincoln 175 with out gas and the splatter sucks. You welds look pretty good.

Get some fresh 3/32" E7018 AC and bake it in the oven for half an hour @ like 300degrees, and use the appropriate polarity (DCEP I believe) should weld very well.

x2 on what chocflip said about cutting the ends up and supporting the stinger.

here is the one i built a couple weeks ago. it is a mirror image of the one i built for my old crawler except for the pieces under the lights to keep it legal. it sticks out maybe an inch from the grill...the stock one stuck out like 3"

also, if you don't want to spend the money on d-rings you could get a door knocker like mine for $8 from six states, most people hate them but i like it. i used the same one on my old crawler and two people had to winch me up the waterfall (upper helldo) when i broke my front axle and it didn't mind

i was thinking of getting two of them but i was not sure how well they work. a d ring is $15 for one so if i can get away with the one you got that would be cool. thanks
