Manual Transmission Syncros

I am looking at a 93 YJ that needs new syncros in the trans ....How hard are they and do i need any special tools???

Depends-- how comfortable are you dismantling your transmission? :D

Generally, there are big snap rings holding things together, maybe a press is needed to separate things, and then reassembly.
 
If you take it apart slowly and lay everything out as you pull the parts off then it will be a easy day consuming process that will be worth it. If you dont have a clean place with room to dismantle the trans or patience then you might not want to try it.

I pulled apart my samurai trans when I was 16 and replaced the syncros by myself and it wasnt that difficult. Granted it was a small, light, easy trans but a manual is a manual.
 
Big snap ring ring tool and a soft hammer. I know that we Novak stock most of the parts. Just take your time
