Maxxis Tires and OSRC Competitors

A limited number of 35” x 17” Maxxis off-road only competition tires will be available at the May OSRC event early Friday morning. These tires will only be mounted at the event and are for off road use only. These tires will be available to competitors in OSRC classes Stock, and Legend. Teams that passed tech at the OSRC Pre-Tech at Armor Coatings will have the first opportunity for the tires. Tires will then be available to teams that register and pass tech inspection Friday morning at the event. Please send me a PM if you have an interest or question about these tires.

That's pretty cool. Having just transported a grip of these tires, I can tell you that soft barely begins to describe them.. "bubble gum" comes much closer. They're reeeeeaaalllly soft!! You want these if they are appropriate for your vehicle.

There are only two sets of Maxxis tires available at this time and they both have been claimed. However, ten more sets of General tires (35” on 17” rims) that are very similar to the Maxxis tires have been located. Jerry Dauerty in SLC (702 491 5250) has the tires for $50/tire. Creighton will mount them at the event for $25/tire.

The generals work good in Moab. I can only imagine they will work even better on a man made course
