What's a good day for you?
I did resign so I could write a tell-all RME book. There's more to Spence than anybody knows. Greg and Herzog actually have a two headed love-child that's been a headliner in the 'Globe' (check your supermarket newsstands), and a few other wild things I'll save for the book.
It's been a fun ride, and I've still got a 'Jeep', a tow rig and a trailer. (The trailer is the only thing that doesn't need attention at the moment.) I just felt like I should mix that part of my life up a little before I wanted to dump the whole thing and start over with something else. Honestly, I'm just kinda saturated with a lot of things.
There's about 4-5 other things I'm cutting out of my life to spend more time with my RAPIDLY aging family and I think there will be a couple of things that move in to take their place. I know my wife has appreciated me not checking the board as much over the past few weeks. There's been a couple of weekends I didn't even boot a computer (way different for the 'geek' that I am) and I've really enjoyed it.
I love the board just because of the interaction and people I've met on it. There's some super cool folk here and I wouldn't have met many/any of them without Greg posting up on PBB one day a few years ago (when was that? 2000-2001 area, I'm sure) telling everyone that he was going to start his own board with his standards. It's attracted a lot of people and some have come and some have gone and some have even come back. (and some we can't seem to get rid of
)When's the U4 summer convention again? I need to get motivated/healed to fix a couple things on the 'Jeep' before then....

That would be August 11, in Richfield! I will be trying to get my Blazer ready before then as well. And motivating/recovering as well... as well.
I'm glad that you are stepping aside for the reasons you've detailed... and I have your number, so I won't have to sit, forlorn and heartsick, by the computer hoping for a glimpse. BWWAHAHAHAHHA see ya later.

Movie rights are in negotiations at the moment. They are 'proposing' a few changes to the script, but don't worry, I'm not budging unless it involves prodigious amounts of cash.
Did you get a pic? (preferably a 'fuzzy', out of focus one) I could use it and could give you a small percentage of some merchandising or something.
