The title just about Summs it up. I was teaching my kids the proper ;) way to jump,,,,, and do I need say more. This was a small jump well with in my abilities and thus I did not were a helmet. Next thing I know, I'm on a make shift back board on my way to Payson Hospital.
Turns out it was not that big of deal, but I did scare my family a bit. I should be just fine. My injuries include; lots of cuts, 52 stitches, a concussion, broken shoulder blade(no cast) and a broken nasal passage(no cast again) and a loss of pride  . Don't expect many posts by me in the near future as the PC screen still messes with my head. But I do feel fine, just wish I could remember what I did wrong:confused: .

You didn't wear your helmet. ;)

Hope you have a quick recovery! It's never fun being injured...

Rule of thumb: never ride without your gear. I made that mistake and spent 2 months with severe lower back pain.

Even I would were a helmet on a dirt bike (and that's saying a lot)... but then again, I wont ride dirt bikes because I don't know when to say when.

Hope that shoulder heals up right.
