Medium duty truck inspection ?

I bought a 1970 chev bobtail dump truck a few months ago. I have been fixing it up since then. It is a 366 gas truck. I have never owned a medium duty before, so I wonder where to get it inspected? It has air brakes. It will have to have emissions done on it too. I would prefer to take it somewhere that isn't gonna be an inspection nazi. It is roadworthy now, but it is an old truck. I live in utah county, so I would like to take it somewhere here.:ugh:

With air brakes, you will have to find a heavy truck place to do it. Up here in SLC, I've found Freightliner Utah, of all places, to be very reasonable with safety issues.

So with air brakes the inspection is different? I'm new to this stuff, so school me if you have experience with this stuff.

It depends on gvw. Inspection stations have to get certified to go higher than 26k.

Got mine done at Walts in Clearfield and was very happy

Jiffy Lube should be able to do it as well

Im no help for Utah county
