Memorial Day weekend in Sand Hollow

[Gravy]

Shot down Friday afternoon. Had a big group.

Killer wind ate up gas mileage on the way down and it was kinda cold on Saturday but it warmed up steadily Sunday and was nice and hot Monday. We went home Tuesday... great time.

Kelly parked us too close to the lake in the dark... this is what happened

woke up to this beautiful view

Ran Joint effort

had some issues with my new oil pan leaking

almost everybody got a run on the pitbike

Chilled by the lake

hung out with everybody's dogs

at camp

swam a bit

fixed the oil pan with 3 sticks of JB quick stick

Watched some cool sunsets

Counted 7 or 8 kinds or birds in the area around camp alone

Reran Joint Effort. Played in the dunes. Had some campfires

it was windy and crappy on saturday but we still ran west rim and the maze and played in the dunes. sunday the weather was a lot nicer and we did sliplock gulch, played in the dunes and hung out at the condo pool. monday we went over to the sand hollow side and did smurfettes, played in the dunes up top and then headed home. the crazy thing is that we only saw one rig on the trails the whole time.

i've said it before and i'll say it again: if you haven't been to sand hollow, GO TO SAND HOLLOW!!!!

How are those tires on the rocks Stratton? I've been wondering ever since Robby put those on...

Really high traction. More lateral traction than nearly any tire I've seen. Not great in the sand, but that May have more to do with the lack of HP.
