Here are a couple shots I took from our Memorial weekend trip to Wyoming. This was all taken with my crappy Nikon point and shoot (when it feels like it ) camera so they aren't the best quality. Anyway I was able to make a few changes to my jetting and powervalve on the CR and it really woke up! I also rode my buddy's bike in the pic below and it is nearly identical to mine other than it has a Rekluse auto clutch :greg:

Enis has been trying to climb "S Turn" for almost 10 years now. This was a happy day for him lol!

The next two give you an idea of how steep the top is in some places :eek2:

I'm going to make some extensions for my CR500 similar to these. The help a lot in the really steep stuff.

In the first pic you will notice all the dry soil....

And here you will see the outcome of the snowstorm/mudslide/torrential downpour that we decided to sleep through :eek2::ugh::rolleyes:

It took nearly an hour just to get all the vehicles out of the camp site! Down the road a ways my friend is sliding his way towards a washed out bridge.

We piled up a bunch of logs, rocks and twigs, but it was no match for the heavy Cummins or the heavier enclosed. There was .1% traction in this muck and goo :ugh:

Using the Highlift to raise the trailer high enough to throw more debris under and using shovels to dig deep ruts to help keep the truck and trailer from sliding off the edge we were able to pull it through with the big Chevy.

I wish I had more pictures of this! After a few hours we made it safely back to the main highway. Its hard to describe how brutal the mud was, but it goes to show how important recovery gear is. If we didn't have straps, a come-along, shovels and a highlift I'm 100% confident that we'd still be there right now

Nice, epic riding and insane conditions getting out! Those hills look like a blast, I could see where a CR500 with a extended swingarm would be best.

They pretty much rule the hill Greg :D That said I was blown away by how hard some of the 450's were pulling. I'll bet that WR of yours would be a riot out there.

I forgot to add after I went for a spin on the CR250 with the Rekluse I couldn't figure out how to shut it off lol. Letting the clutch out obviously didn't work and neither did the kill switch. Turns out I'm really lucky the Nitrous system wasn't armed because as it turns out the kill switch was wired up to the Nitrous solenoid--kind of a dumb switch to use for that if you ask me!!! That being said I've never tried out nitrous before--pulling an extra gear up the hill would be a lot of fun I think!
