Just went out to test my new locker and took a couple pics so hear they are...
some highlights of the trip were me standing my jeep up on the rear end and hitting the rear bumper and then slammin back down then as i was trying to back out it i high centered and then slid off the rock i was on and almost rolled sideways haha i needed a bathroom after that and will probably have bad dreams tonight.

Not yet, i had at least 5 people look at it very intensely and no one can tell so i figured id go test it out and see if it broke, and that would solve the mystery but everything held up fine so i will tear it apart this weekend to re-tighten everything to see if that helps. For the time being it drives better than it did before and doesnt make any noises on road so i think it can wait. The only thing we could conclude was wrong was a bad tie-rod end but i think that that is unrelated to the problem.

no he only gets in while turning lock to lock.so its something in the steering ,trackbar,or balljoints.could even be the control arm bushings but they were fairly new(on the housing ).he just swung a HP 30 in that i sold him.

Yeah its weird because its hard to pinpoint where the pop is generating from, the only thing i can concluded is maybe didnt torque a bolt to spec or that bottom ball joint is bad. Its like at a certain point going in either direction it builds up a bit of pressure and then releases. I'm goin to check it out on sunday.
I might swing by your place on saturday Badger (if your going to be there) after i get done with mini moab, just because no one seems to know what is wrong with it.

I've got a mystery pop in my front end as well, only when turning the wheel too. If you figure out what yours is, post up. I've tried tightening everything up over the weekend and I still get pops out of it. Damn annoying

try tightening the traick bar mount to the frame or the stearing box bolts, they tend to loosen after a good wheeling trip

I've checked the track bar, and it has no play but I'll have to check the steering box and control arms again.

MM is goin to be soo fun, i guess ill post up something in upcoming trips so we can have more people there.

I really think the "pop" can be coming from anything i just need to pinpoint it, but ive wheeled on it a few times and its had no problem but i still want to find out what it is because its probably not a good thing to have.
