Mmmmmmm... homemade salsa

We were at the grocery store today and they had Hatch chilies, so I loaded up with what was needed to whip up some salsa and headed home.

I started with grilling the tomato's, Hatch chilies and Anaheim peppers over the charcoal, until the peppers & chilies were blackend on the outside and the skin on the tomato's was peeling off. After pulling everything off the grill, I let them sit while I chopped up some red onions & cilantro. Next we peeled the skin off, dropped the tomatoes, Hatch's and Anaheim's into the food processor, pulsed it a handful of times, them mixed the mess with the onions & cilantro mix, juiced some lemons, limes and seasoned everything. It's damn good... more than enough spice to warm things up! :greg:

You had to do that ..... As I'm sitting here eating Ramen noodles :(

Looks good! I almost picked a few peppers today, but I think I'll let them sit a few more days.

UNSTUCK

But stuck more often.
Went out to turn my bbq on tonight, just as the storm blew through west valley. I turned around and went back inside and had left overs.

My left overs are not picture worthy.
