Moab 2/3 - Pritchett

In that last set of pictures, is that "Rock Pile" or a bypass for "Rock Pile"? We ran it on Sunday, but were unsure about the names of a few of the obstacles. There was a fairly vertical wall before that, and I was wondering if that was the actual obstacle. Looks like you guys had fun! It's a great trail, but it was a little scary for a flat-lander like me!

Wow! After looking at more of the pictures there was a lot less snow on Sunday. Thanks for warming up the rocks guys!

Yes, the vertical wall is the actual Rock Pile, and yes we took the by-pass. Axle hill (I believe it's called) was about the toughest (mandatory) with all the snow/ice (see second link, first post). Meat pulled several over it. The buggy at the bottom, seen in several of the pictures, busted his driver front lower link on it.

p.s. sucks to be back to work ... fantastic trip ... and the "infamous" meat is ok, no matter what you guys say.

Now, badger, I hear is a mangina ... had a chance to go and girlied out

go figure?

The snow kicked our butts. The entire group took bypasses  on; Rocker Knocker, Rock Pile and the hard side of Yellow Hill. Yet we still had a great time:D .

Price was WELL represented on this tail. Great bunch of wheelers! Looking forward to going to price when I get my rig going.

I'm glad everyone had a good time on Pritchett. Jim (trail leader, gray Sami) was quite concerned about the possibility of snow prior to the trip, but it seems like everything worked out okay. To bad Rocker Knocker was totally iced over!

By the way, my wife (Susan, in the blue Sami) was the tailgunner. She was impressed with how everyone did. Usually a group of that size would take considerably longer to complete Pritchett, and that is with good conditions!

Heart felt special thanks to all of you organizers! Jim is my new hero, and if you want to learn a thing or two about crawling watch Susan. Tell her thanks alot for tailing for us -- dang and talk about some sweet sami's!!!

Yeah all of Rock Pile's rocks are piled in the bypass to Rock Pile's rock pile.

Jim kicked ass, I hope I'm half that active when (if) I get older.

Susan made sure to show Axle Hill who was boss, and didn't even consider taking a strap.

I DO have pictures of this trail on my camera so I'll get on that :D

Jeremy's trail fix, he ripped the tube loose on the crossmember where the lower link mounts, they put a half inch extension (socket) in the tube and chained it all together, I helped him up the bad stuff with a strap and they drove it out to where he could get his truck and trailer.
