Well, had a great time down south in Moab this weekend. We went and did Elephant Hill on Friday and then Flat Pass/Steelbender on Saturday. Here's a few pics from the trip, though the quality is kind of crappy.

the last picture in your first post... that climb claimed two lights of mine.... oh well... :D

so the motor mounts held up eh? glad you had some pro help to get you beast in shape for the trip ;)

wish i coulda gone down with you, but as you know my Samurai isn't allowed on trails anymore... unless Tweeky is leading, then it's just a mtter of finding a parking stall... :suka:

Yeah, that was kind of a pucker the butt obstacle....my Jeep kept leaning and leaning further to the edge as I pulled up onto it. I wasn't too thrilled with that.

Yep, motor mounts stayed in one piece. Tranny mount on the other hand......I do appreciate the help with getting my Jeep done. Other than that, my fuel pump is ghetto fabulous after this mornings rewiring to get home :D

eh, not to scary....just had to rig a switch up to turn my fuel pump on...something went bad somewhere and it wouldn't turn on other than when I was cranking the engine.

Our group of 6 Scouts were on Steel Bender on Saturday also, did you pass us by, we were on the trail for about 8 hours about 1/3 of the way through it. We had powersteering go out on one of the Scouts. Replaced gear box w/ a spare but had to make a trip to town for a pump. That last obstacle was pretty spooky. I still can't believe I made it up in my "stock" scout w/o assistance. Need to watch the video now of me going up. Last year some of the members in our group saw a jeep roll over the edge there so that didn't help hearing that. Friday we did Metal Masher, Sunday did Hells Revenge. Had a blast for my 2nd year in a row down there.

We passed you guys on Elephant Hill. The rigs in our group were a rad early bronco, a rented TJ, and a big ass orange pinsgauer :) It was a great weekend!
