Chad "man I could really use a beer.... we're going here, you are driving back to the motel"

Me "..... ok"

Meats far to femine for beer, he likes fruity girly drinks, and wine coolers:p

Is it so controversial to see who signed the paper which landed them on this list? Whether it was accidental or not.

Yes, that list is several years old, things have changed. Additionally, one of the businesses that was on that list is owned by the former president of the RR4W's who's wife was tricked into signing it. The list has been deleted from RME for that reason. It would be much more proactive if we gathered a list of 4WD freindly businesses and encouraged people to only shop there rather than shunning SUWAite businesses.

Why don't we start a list of good places to shop here on RME in the form of a thread. I want to know where are good places to spend our hard earned dollars. That way if there are any wheeler haters they will be left out of the party.

eddi McStiffs is not even on that list....

I'll tell you that McStiff's does not want 4x4'ers in Moab. They were contacted when their name appeared on the "Black List" and they supported the "SUWA letter" 100%.

The new owners of Slickrock Cafe are now business members of U4WDA (sorry to mention U4WDA outside of "U4WDA Corner"). They want to be very supportive of motorized access in Moab, and also became members of USA-ALL.

I'll give a rousing round of support for Ben Hanks Racing in Sandy. Great people starting a great shop.

the chevron in Moab is most definately supportive to what we do... granted it's owned by Rob's uncle, and run by his cousin... but they allowed us to weld on our junk next to the store, and didn't mind flipping the breaker when we tripped it.. they even donated to the U4WDA's raffle this year with a number of gas cards... good people, make sure to stop by there when in town

also, Ba-Ba-Q just across from the Chevron is incredible food! and the best part is that he's big into sponsoring and supporting our sport... he also donated to the U4WDA's raffle...

...and, i too support Ben Hanks ;)

They were going by all the booths in the vendor show making it known they supported us. Very nice people, we talked to them a fair bit and they were even taking stickers from the vendor show to put up inside the restaurant to show they were 4x4 friendly (they have ours on the cash register :)).

They also gave a 20% off discount to anyone they saw at the trade show.

Really cool people, great food & service. We ate there on the way out of town and I'll certainly stop by again.

I saw that right next to the U4 sticker :). Very good folks, and very good food! We reserved a table for 15 on Saturday night, and we showed up with 30+ and they took great care of us!
