There was an informal meeting of Broncos in Moab last week. We had a great time with rigs coming in from all over the Country as well as Canada. I think I might have to name my EB "the 3 Legged Dog" because it doesn't know when to quit and it's always happy to take more abuse.
The day before leaving for Moab I found out my rear locker wasn't working again so I decided I would ignore it and have fun anyway. We did Moab Rim the first day with no issues.
About an hour into Golden Spike on day 2 my rig started running like 3 legged dog crap.. it was smoking terribly and smelled of raw gas. It ended up taking 19.4 gallons of gas to run that trail (it should have been ~8) that day. I tracked it down to a stuck open fuel injector, so I unplugged it and ran on 7 cylinders for the rest of the trip.
Behind the Rocks was no issue either for the 3 Legged Dog.
Next came Hell's Revenge and I must have been needing an adrenaline fix. Hell's gate, no problem. The big hot tub.. BIG PROBLEM. Now with a front locker and an open backend I figured there wasn't really any hope. The 3 Legged Dog had different plans though. On its stock 92 inch wheel base it got close to hooking up over the top but of course close is not good enough on an obstacle like that. So here's the video of the ensuing carnage.

Well there is good news in light of the the minor damage that happened in the hot tub. The old school event is coming up and I won't have to worry about banging up my front fenders or grill.
Here's a few random pics from Moab including one where my chief photographer caught himself in the camera.
