I made a trip to Moab Saturday:cool:
I was hoping to get to the Gemini bridges while there because I've never been there.
I stopped on the way in and found the beginning of the trail was very muddy from the snow melting so I decided to take an easy drive up Sand Flats road.
I got up to the porcupine trail head and then headed back to town to meet up with one of the RME bigwigs :greg:
I started to head back to Salt Lake but at the Canyonlands sign I decided to stop in and check it out. I almost didn't get there before the sun set.
By the time I got to the Grand overlook it was to dark for pictures but I got some on the way in. First time I've been there in winter.

It was good to see you again Bob! Moab in the winter is one of my personal secrets, I love hiking around down there, the Nat. Parks are deserted and the weather is usually pretty decent.

I think that XJ was a good buy for you, they're great all-around rigs for this type of stuff. Good to see you're getting out with it.

Looks like a good day Bob!

Moab is fun in the winter, but the snow can make some trails :ugh: interesting in mostly stock vehicles.
