It looks like you took a pretty good tumble, glad to hear nobody was injured.
I dont know if it was just the picture angle, but your front axle housing looked to be bent.

ya it was a pretty hard hit to the passanger side. but it was ambition to get an exo cage asap. i checked out the housing and its ok.

there is a two and a half foot step up thats on an angle and my two friends had no problem going up it so i followed their line and yeah.....

yeah, protection is a must! roll bar, cage, exo, whatever you choose.
unfortunately, I made the same mistake as you, (many yrs ago when mine was my daily driver) I had to through my cab & bed in the garbage & my wife has a finger that was destroyed!
I hate learning things the hard way!

i thought about an exo right before we headed to moab but i didnt have time nor a welder and bender so i said id take it easy and build it when i get home, well then this happened. like you said learnin the hard way sucks. there was a girl in a truck on esclator during ejs that got her hand smashed against the wall and they lifeflighted her out!! pretty sad

yeah, it was an almost perfect straight until this. i was able to bend most of it out to where my doors will fit so i am just going to exo around it.

Moab rim is so off camber...it always makes me nervous. Crazy that a little 2 foot ledge can roll you compared to all the other obstacles climbed on that trail. Glad no one was hurt.

Almost makes me glad Nick and I broke just before you went up that trail. I agree on the exo thing. When we get my Yota finished I want it to have one too.
