Moab over the weekend

So I went to Moab over Memorial weekend and did some much easier trails than I'm use to because I took the CJ7 and was not interested in scratching it. I must say, I'm very impressed with all the signage that is out now. I like, some of the barriers to prevent asshats from wondering off the trails, some were just completely out of place and it is sad that these barriers need to be there.

I missed wheeling with my RME friends, and the kids kept telling me they missed being in the Cruiser, but really, I think we all need to go back and wheel like we used to, I had a blast trying to make it up some areas that the Cruiser would laugh at. Having to find my way up a hill instead for just pointing and going. I did Wipe Out Hill and it scared the shet out of me :rofl:

Any way, I just wanted to give props to the individuals that have worked hard on all the signage down there, it made finding my way around much easier.

I'll post a pic of the Jeep doing some..... extreme wheeling later :D

Somehow I missed it. :D

I like the CJ, I like it alot, still. I like WipeOut Hill too! Good times. We SHOULD all go down there sometime. Obama cancelled my plans for the YJ so I'm going to build it straight-up, though on 37's. No travel, no motor, just a standard deal. :D Should be perfect.

I'm tired, I worked my ass off in Delta(where you should have been).

Yes, we should get a trip together! I had to skip EJS this year, so I need to get down there.

The whole time I was down there I kept thinking of you and your armorall CJ7. A sweet jeep that dose not need to be scratched, although, a very capable jeep.

The one time I don't make it down there... gah. Looks like a great time! We had a moderate XJ a few years ago that we ended up doing an official EJS trail in. The wait for everybody was frustrating but the nostalgia of cruising the trails and having to use open-diff tactics was great.

The CJ7 looks great.

Awesome CJ.

Sometimes it is more fun to drive something less built. Having to actually try to drive an obstacle is cool.
