Moab run 21.22.23rd

BOB-CAT

THE PUNISHER
With me and my wife in the blue Toy, my son in the silver 4runner, PBF in the red Jeep with 37's, Parks Pop and his son and wife to be in the red Jeep with 35's, Motorhead and his family in the white XJ with the rack, Motorhead's brother int he old CJ, Poomba in the white and black XJ, and Clint in the white Jeep.

Friday we checked in at the KOA cabins 4 miles southeast of town. Met up with PBF for a tour of Potato Salad Hill and decided to skipit, but watched an old CJ walk up it with no problem. Ran over to Bump Dump and played, then went up a couple of fins.

Saturday we ran Hells Revenge and had alot of fun. In my opinion I was too tall for that, but my son in the 4runner had a fun day. No damage reported. Had a blast watching a group of new Rovers run and drag bumpers all over the place. I am not making fun of the cars, but the people in them had no idea what they were in for. Good thing they had front and rear spotters for them.

Sunday we ran Moab Rim and left the 4runner at the KOA. This trail is what I liked. It was a fun run plus I liked the new trail on the backside loop that PBF took us on. Poomba disintegrated the rear clips and sheered the nuts on the rear driveline, so Motorhead pulled him back to the top. I have a leaky front seal, and Parks Pop needs a new alignment.

Monday we ran home. It was a good trip. Enjoy the pics.

Nice report Bob! Look liks it was a good time. Moab Rim may not be the hardest trail down there, but it's definatley the most senic!

Thanks Greg, it is a nice view my wife asked me who was the first to run up the rim and the loop trail on the back side was wild.

Looks like fun! (about time you posted some pics..) Where are the rest??

Bob-cat has some more pics from my camera that are pretty sweet (of course cuz they are of me :D )

It was a great trip. One of the best that I have had.
I agree that one of the best parts was the loop at the top of Moab Rim...although I did get a bit tired of leaning to the left the whole time :p

Met some great people. PBF and Motorhead were great to run with. Very technical and always under control. Poomba did pretty good for his first time. Too bad his rear driveline went boom

Can't wait to go again...hint, hint, hint!!!!!
