Been to Moab a bunch, but have always stayed in town so wherever we stayed had a place to park the truck and trailer. Heading out there in October, but we'll be hopefully running WRT, and then down to Elephant Hill/Beef Basin and camping every night. Got a few places I could leave it all in Grand Junction, but would rather have everything in Moab. I've seen a few dirt lots towards the north end of Moab that always seem to have trucks and trailers in them, is there any restriction on parking there??

There is a very wide dirt shoulder across the street from Denny's. It stays that wide all the way south to the rock shop. That's where a lot of semi trucks park for their layover. I've taken my layover there several times without issue.

Figured I'd get a few more knowledgeable answers over here than on CO4x4 or MC!
That's one of the spots I was thinking of. There's another dirt lot on the west side of 191/Main to the north of one of the hotels. I'm sure I'd be good for a day or two, but this will be for 5-6 days.

I have parked mine at moab outpost for the day before. Also a dirt lot by the shell south of town.

x2. I have left my truck/trailer there the last few times I have been down with no issues. Call Steve @ the Outpost, he is pretty good about letting people park in the dirt lot in front of his place.
