moab trip report

Had a lot of fun on the moab trip this year. Some pics of the participants.
Trails hit: fins and things: (test run for my pals new TJ, busted rod end heh heh
Steel Bender, no issues but winched blackzj up the big hill.
Pickle and mashed potatoe: lots of fun, but zj shredded a tire.
metal masher: green YJ busted a rear 60 shaft. But we all conquered the waterfall at the end.
Kane Creek: no issues with us but had fun watching two nice new FJs carefully pick their lines thru.
Green day and minor threat: best pics, but the green YJ lost a hub.
Pritchet Canyon: we blasted thru this trail by owning everything (well except the waterfall haha. However the TJ lost a 60 shaft (we got this fix down to 15 min) and the white YJ lost his tcase/trans mount. We strapped it down and went out thru hunter canyon to behind the rocks backward and all of crept right UP white knuckle hill (what a rush!).

Sounds like fun. We just got back from Moab tonight. i will post some pics after we get everything situated. Quick question, where is mashed potatoe? Is that an actual trail? Or are you just reffering to Potatoe Salad Hill? Sorry to hi-jack your thread...

mashed potatoe is a real trail, north of Arches. I don't think it's in the moab trails book. Route finding can be a challenge, that's why i ensure my pal Shon is always along

If you have anymore info. on the trail such as GPS or a rough description I would love to check it out. Otherwise I'll just have to kidnap your buddy Shon!
