Thanks! The guys at low range are really just too awesome, if you have ever had the oppertunity to deal with them you will know they rock, I got the truck together and drove it around the block today, it feels really tight but holy smokes it is freaking ugly! It needs to be painted! That will be tomorrows project... That and getting my 37 inch trepadors mounted on the bead locks for Jeep Safari heres the ugly duckling today

I hate to say it, but lime green paint may actually truly be better than what it is now.. Never thought if say that about lime green.

Haha thanks guys, I'm thinking lime green (of course) with black tiger stripes? I have an 80 series m/c, I'm just looking for the booster? Other than the paint I'm pretty much done until after jeep safari, then it will be going under the knife for dual case/disconnect, roll cage, seats, bumpers, and I'm going to cut the tunnel and do a flat belly

Regardless of paint choice it'll always be ugly, because it's Robbies.:p Although, Lime green with tiger stripes may be even uglier than the typical Robbie Rig. Good job getting it together so fast!

ill post more on that in a bit
i also needed a front bumper. we rock rules state that your bumper must stick out one inch from your truck, last time i did werock i put my bumper exactly one inch from the front of my truck but ran into problems when i rolled hard forward and the bumper smashed my radiator a bit. so it stick out about 2.5 inches this time around

next was paint, i didnt have time to get the tiger stripes but i got the green!

next i took it to jeep safari to test it out, worked great, and i didnt have to even get my tool box out once!
here it is making light work of tip over challange

Good call Strattonstacy, I'll check the rules and see if they allow to run without a tail gate, my thought was that it would add strength but you will see from the picks I will post later it didn't help much ;)

I decided I'd install my sr5 inclinometer, so I tore the dash apart

Here is the dash pad

All old mini truck dash pad had the holes for the cluster.. You just have to find them

Here is my dash pad with the holes poked through

I have two clusters, neither one is in the best shap but I'll make something work out of both of them

This is the gauge cluster I really want, it's out of an st5 Toyota tercel, keep your eyes out at the junk yard for me. I want it because it has a fwd indicator which would be cool to have wired up to my disconnect

Here is my bracket mounted to the dash pad

I cut my tunnel out to raise my drivetrain, this is just a rough cut, I'm sure I'll be trimming it more.

I got the 4.7 tcase out, it's pretty dirty and could use a good rebuild before getting mated to another case and getting a disconnect
