Sweet! Pm me with your number, price etc! The runner is done for a while some day I'll turn it into a 4seater but that's a long ways down the road after I get a buggy built, this truck is just an extremely cheap way to keep me entertained until the buggy gets done. I'll be starting a build thread on the buggy soon I'm looking to order my Dom in the next couple days, btw if anyone needs any, it will be a fairly large order due to a bunch of random projects so It will drive the price down. Let me know if anyone wants any it will be mostly 1 3/4 in but I'll order what ever anyone is willing to pay for

When are you going to make your tube purchase? I am in need of a small amount of the 1 3/4, and I need it sooner than later. If your looking this week, I will through on my order.

Sweet keep em coming! It will most likely be end of February when I order, I will give you a for sure date as it gets closer, as well as a a SET price a few days before pick up. I will need all the money up front(I'm not going to steal your money, lots of people on here know where I live, and many have even bought tube through me before, I'm just not a bank and can't sit on Dom waiting for $$) depending on how much we get it will be close to this:

1 1/2x.120= $2-3pft
1 3/4x.120= $3-4pft

These prices could give or take a bit due to price of metal, and how much we get so far 1 3/4 has a pretty good large order

I've been sick so there wasn't much progress made for a while. A few days ago I felt a little better and got the idea to rip the motor out of my 4runner. I'm pretty sure it was the coldest day I've ever lived through, so cold and windy that I wore my ski goggles while working in the drive way(as if my neighbors didn't already think Im nuts) it was a bad idea and I felt sick again for the next few days but I got it out!

Friday night I moved the truck an the motor to a buddies shop where it's warmer and has more appropriate tools. Saturday around 3 pm I started hitting it hard
Here's a shot of the truck, 22re removed, ready for a real motor;)

Here is the 7mge. in all my times of pulling the motor in and out I've found that it's way easier to leave the tranny connected/connect the tranny out side the truck then slip it in and bolt it to the tcase. This eliminates dealling with the starter(big time pain with the 7m) and you don't have to worry about alining the clutch as much

Here is the homemade chevy radiator support
ff4f86b3.jpg

All and all a pretty good day, radiator is done, power steering is done, wiring is all done. Tomorrow I'm going to mount the fuel cell, plum the fuel lines, mount the battery and hopefully get the exhaust done, then it will be running. I picked up a custom oil pan made by "superrunner" and I still need to put that on so it will clear the Ifs diff(right now the diff is out) I'm hoping monday if he is available, I can talk him into tig welding my oil pick up tube to fit the new pan
I'll try and shoot some better pictures too:)

so i got the truck running, took it to king of the hammers, rallied it around and it did awesome!untill i parked on a steep angle, left it there for a bit to go watch "back door" only to come back to see that it was leaking a good amount of oil. apparantly in my rush to get the swap done i forgot a bolt in the oil pan on the very back by the transmission. it didnt leak untill parked on the extreme angle. i rolled the truck down to level ground, clean up my spill as best as i could, and checked the oil. it was reading low but camp wasnt to far away with more oil so i chanced driving it there(BAD IDEA) i pulled into camp added oil replaced the bolt and drove away. shortly after it started knocking.... we pulled in on the trailer and took it home. i drained the oil and pulled the oil pan to find this..

metal shavings! a few of the bearing caps had play in them. i pulled the worst one of the bearing caps, the bearring wasnt spun yet but it still had marked up the crank shaft a bit so rather than chance it with new bearings like last time i decided to just do it right and get the crank and rods refinished. so out came the motor.. Again!

its becomeing a way too familiar sight

ive started to tear the motor down and it looks like it will be getting a good overhaul, the head is fine but will have to come off to get the pistons in and out so a new head gasket will be going on as well as new gaskets everywhere. anyone know of a good head gasket?

So far i have ordered head gaskets, condensers, sensors and a few other things and the quailty seems to be just as good, they carry name brands and they have the cheapest prices all the way up to bosch and stuff which is the most expensive so you can select your level of product and price i have usually gone with the 2nd or 3rd too cheapest one because of brands that i trust more but that said they have always been cheaper than anywhere else by a long shot
