This is one of those period type English films from across the pond that you will not understand if you can't understand a thick Essex accent. I watch a lot of BBC programs and I have developed an ear for "The Queen's English" so I could wrap my brain around this one.
Basically it is the story of a kid who grows up a soccer hooligan and ends up involved in the drug trade in England. It makes me not want to visit England because they make it seem more dangerous than East L.A. when I know it really ISN'T!!
If you like this one then get "This is England" which is a tale of Neo-Nazi-ism in england during the 70's and 80's.
