Ride the Woody
Moving from Atlanta, GA area to Ogden area. Going to be attending Weber State for the next few years. I've got a 1988 Grand Wagoneer (wood panel sides, spring over, shackle inversion, lockers, 4.88's, lockers, 36's, etc), A 1977 Wagoneer (no top full cage, spring over, lockers, 36's, etc), and a 1977 CJ-7 (basically stock). I'm only taking the woody out there with me though. Looking to do a good bit of wheelin' when I get settled in. Never done that dry west rock, I'm used to the slick muddy rocks via Tellico on the East. I'm headed out there around August 21st. Prolly see some of ya'll around!

Won't be able to make it. I plan on rolling out of GA the 21st and taking 3 or so days to get out there.

Before I do anything though, I have to get my Jeep to pass emissions here in GA. There is no hope in Utah if it doesn't even pass here. Really all I'm worried about is that Safety inspection out there. Here in the South cops smile and nod. Oh well, I'll get some fender flares and mudflaps I suppose!

good luck on your trip out here, and welcome to RME.
check here often and I am sure you will not have a problem getting hooked up on some trail runs.

If it is at all within the cards to make it out here by the 19th, that would be your best opportunity to meet many people from local clubs as well as this BB all at one time.

If not then try your best to join up on some local trail runs and have as much fun as possible.

Nice to see another woody on here. Good job on the rig by the way

Thanks..I spend wayy too much $$ and time on the thing to keep it going..story of every wheelers' life eh? Transmission went out and then the engine after that. I finally got tired of everything going out, Everything is rebuilt minus the tcase..which I'm sure is only a matter of time :ugh:.

I won't be able to make the 19th, my pops is towing me and the jeep out there and can't take off work before the 20th. Oh well, I'll make a few local runs.
