Have you had it on an emissions machine?

Not for testing, but for tuning. A properly tuned engine will get the best mileage.

Also, what gears and tire size. If those are out of sync it can also rob you horribly.

that's a really good point. if you're running oversize tires with stock gears, that'll drop your mpg quite a bit, depending on how big they are.

I took it down to the slc emissions building for testing. I am required to run my kit car there every year. He told me the engine is running flawless. It was taken to a shop and was tuned after the blower was put on. I have a 350-700r4-np208 with 10/14 bolt with 5.38 gears and 38.5" tires. The engine was built about 2k miles ago, and no I did not do it, a mechanic did.

I know with the blower I shouldnt expect a lot of mileage but 5-6 is crap and I hope it would be higher.

Realistically I don't see you getting much better that that, certainly not double (from 6 to 12 or 15) If its running "great" has a fresh tune up and is tuned. Thats about it, The 38.5's don't help no matter the gearing, thats alot of rolling mass running down the road.

wtf 5-6mpg? throw a ($169) wideband on that pig and bust out your zirconium encrusted carb tuning screwdriver set.

Hell my turbo 383 camaro still gets like 16mpg city. Between my boost/vac gauge and my AEM wideband I have a very good idea of what the engine is doing. You absolutely should have a wideband anyway with that supercharger.

The Performer cam, pistons, etc. do not constitute "built".

? I disagree completely. A different cam can change the manners of the engine entirely. Forged pistons/bottom end are used solely to increase the power capability of the motor, isn't that like the dictionary definition of a motor thats been 'built' to handle more power?
