I saw this posted down at the shop today, and thought that it would be a great oppertunity to get some of you up north to check out one our favorite wheeln' spots. Mt Logan will be providing lunch, and some free stuff.
Then, after that wraps up, I will be headed up the canyon in the buggy.

So come up north for a cool day of food and wheeln.

So is this at the actual quarry at the bottom?

There's someone trying to put a big to do at the snakes on the same date BBQ and such. Always conflicts!

What's it like there? Will the ultimate KJ ever conceived by man do well?

Anything but a car can get up to the quarry. Messing around in the quarry is fun for everything from stock trucks to buggies. There is alot of rock in there.

I actually had a great time playing in and above the quarry in my old car. Even if it was a lifted Subaru hatch back :greg:

Nope. Just drive up there.

No problem at all up to the quarry. If you deside to head up the canyon after like I will be, then if you are not super conserned about your paint (like tree branch scraps), then no problem at all. The switch backs are a little easier this year.

Lets say for the sake of argument, some knob from FL wants to go but he has not idea where these places are. How would one splain to said knob how to get there?

Take I-15 north to the Brigham City-Logan exit. I think it is exit #362. Head east to Logan up through Sardine canyon. After exiting Sardine canyon stay on 89 into Logan. As you enter town turn right at the "Y" onto Nibley road Highway 165. Follow 165 until you see a Macey's. Turn left on 100 North. Follow 100 north to 100 east and turn right. Stay on 100 East (which will turn east and change into canyon rd.) and that will bring you to the canyon and up to the quarry. Or google map it if my directions suck.

best thing to do is print off a map , it can be tricky getting to the canyon if you've never been
