I have been watching that thread

I have been thinking about driving up with my little 6 year old boy to watch one of them. Any suggestions on which event or venue would be the best for spectators?

The videos make it look like a fun day.

The races here in Boise at Pleasant Valley Raceway are always good. We don't have the Open class very often because those guys require a lot of $$$$ to show up. The Soda Springs race is the biggie race for us personally. They have some of the fastest rigs in the west show up each year.

Most of the other tracks are more for the "local" folks to race at but you will see some fast rides. With that said, the Castleford race is big for the town. They have a huge car show the entire weekend with a lot of activities all weekend including the mud drags on Saturday.

Season is coming

Anyone know if there is anything of the sort down here in the SLC area?

Still planning on hitting some idaho races, but some local would be nice.
