I currently have a Flowmaster FM 50. It's a little loud and a little big for my application.
FM 50, 3" in and out, offset outlet. The case measures 4" X 9.75" X 17".
I'd like something a little queter, and a little smaller. I'm willing to sacrifice a little power for it, but I don't want to shove a potato in my turndown.

What have you guys had success with?

Might want to give Aero Exhaust a call. He used to be a vendor on here. Let us know what you decide on, I'm looking to replace a FM 50 for the exact reasons you gave.

I used to run a flowmaster 70 and really liked it. It's not quite as loud as the 50.

Cody, do you have any pictures of your exhaust? Can you see much past your skid plate?
I'm really curious, as supposedly there are guys running 3" cats FM 50s and Clayton's with full exhaust out the back... I just don't see how it could fit. I searched MallCrawlin, and didn't find much of use...

both of my Zj's that had triangulated 4 link ran 3" all the way out. There isn't any way to fit a big flowmaster type muffler though. On both I had to run a 'bullet' style muffler (which I think aero is?) to fit in there.

If you want to see how mine is routed, you're welcome to take a look. It's parked next to my house full time, so just send me a PM and I'll shoot you my address and you can stop by at your convenience.

Fritz at Meineke on state and about 3200 s is your guy to do the bending, if you are looking.

edit: ok correction. My 4 point slow only ran 2.5" exhaust all the way out......but still.

I would reallly like to get back to a full exhaust. It wasn't as loud today as it seemed yesterday, but I got a bit spoiled driving my wife's car all summer while I worked on the pig. Thanks for the info guys.
