Murdock Basin is open

We went up Memorial day to see how far up we could go and made it all the way to the lakes at the end of the road. The snow is going away fast.

In the Wasatch-Cache National Forest near Kamas.

Neat area. Went there quite a few years ago now on the U4 run. Is that huge rock-field area we ran that day still open? I'd like to go back up there this year. Short day trip for some crazy wheel'n.

Where is murdock basin?

The turn off is between the Soapstone road and the Trial lake turn off on the Mirror Lake highway. I should have brought the camera but I forgot it. Where we ended up had a great view of the primitive area and Mount Agassiz.
