This is mainly for Jeremy, Shawn, James & myself, but if you have something helpful to add, feel free.

OK guys, I figured I'd snap a few pics so we can get on the same page. I know Hickey likes to draw on pics, so have away Jeremy!

Here's the rear of the frame.-

More frame, with Crossmember. I plan on setting up my upper links just behind the Tube.-

Corner where Crossmember meets Frame.-

Lots of room....... :)

Get rid of the jacks on Cinder Bricks!!!!!!!!

Yep, plenty of room!

Hey, atleast the cinder blocks are in their stronger direction, not rotated 90*... now that would be scary! I'm using the big HF jacks and still need more height!

I suck at drawing. I have a hard time drawing what I see in my head. Jump in here anytime Herzog! I would like to accomplish some unique bracketry/tower work on that axle. If anyone has ideas/drawings, post up.

how far from the crossmember to the axle postion?

can we remove the crossmember and do something different?
I think you are thinking the same as me, that the uppers will need to mount further forward of the crossmember.

I have the exact same 4 link on my yota that you are doing. My uppers sit up on top of where the crossmember meets the frame. I dont think you need to remove the crossmember but you definitly need to strengthen it up. I think that if the links were any longer past the crossmember you will drag them over all the rocks.

Here is a view of my 4-link from the top. Not as many degrees of triangulation as many, but it works and is solid.
