Here are a couple still shots from my video I took.
Day 1 (Thursday)
We got to Moab around noon and the weather was good. We decided to go check out around Proving Grounds and ended up doing the last little bit of Steel Bender Here are a couple pics of us playing around the river area.
Day 2 (Friday)
We went out to Metal Masher around noon despite the ominous clouds. The trip was nice and uneventful until we got to Mirror Gulch and came across a 68ish Bronco, Toyota looking buggy, and a built YJ- ALL broken down with axle problems. We (2 XJs and my TJ) didnt have problems with the section despite the wet slickrock and open diffs... we dont know how people could have broke down there but whatever.
Day 3 (Big Saturday)
We headed out to Dump bump/Potato Salad to goof around and later Hells Revenge for some trail raiding. A couple people were breaking drivelines on DB, the puddle at the foot of the obstacle didnt help. The funniest was a guy with a stock rubicon less then 7 days old (still had dealer stickers) trying to get up the bump. He gave up after a while but nonetheless did better (got further up) then a couple of the WT rigs .
We then did HR, it took us 4 hours, a trail that shouldnt take more then 1.5. Shouldnt complain though, we saw some cool rigs do some amazing things.
The trip would not be complete without coercing drunk kids into doing something studid to get on "TV". Like all the pictures on this thread, this is a still shot from video of a local kid (hopefully I dont get him in trouble... I wont say where he's from) jumping puddles on HR. Mind you it was probably 50 degrees outside with a steady cool wind... Im glad I wasnt the soaking wet one that day.
