Rolled down on Thursday morning.

Swung out to the vendor show for a bit and said hi to everyone and checked out the new stuff.

Met up with Pelygroso and his 2 friends. Pely on his WR250 2t and Aaron on his 01 WR250 4T (both street legal :jealousy:)

We hit up Milts for lunch with some of the old Wild Yoats crew and then rode up to Potato Salad and watched the dumb dumbs for a while.

Then we did Slick Rock Bike trail and the fun parts of Hells Revenge and watched a few buggies shoot the Devil's Highway Hot tub first try and then lap it a few times.

Camping was nice.

We rode Kane Creek trail with a random guy we met in the parking lot of Cliffhanger on a 95 XR250, Brent, he was 55 and rocking wranglers, duck taped hiking boots, a carhart jacket and a full face moto helmet and he was a ninja on a dirtbike.

I think I found my new favorite dirtbike trail in Moab!
The first section that's flat and loose and rocky is super boring in a Jeep but on a bike it's fast and kinda technical at high speed.

It got nice and hot and I really really enjoyed the 36 river crossings. I didn't mind getting wet at all!

It was quite challenging on the ledges and the big loose rocky climbs near the end and only our older ninja friend Brent was able to one shot wonder the very last ledge.

We cruised our bikes down the highway and made a quick stop at Hole n the Rock

Down the highway back to the truck at about 65mph Pelygroso's rear tire decided going round was not what it liked and proceeded to halt,
leaving a nice black wobbly line 300 ft down the tarmac onto the dirt shoulder,
Luckily we all practiced this move extensively on BMX bikes as 10 year olds, so he was quite fine if not a little shaken.

After fiddling with the bike for a bit we got it to start fine but it would not roll even with the clutch in!
After more postulating and "let me try that" we got it into first gear and we started down the side of the highway in 1st gear.
As soon as he shifted to second... "Bang!" stuck again. So off Aaron and I go to get the truck whilst Tyler is left to push his bike to the next turn out, 300 yards in the sand with a locked up rear tire...

Fun.

Videos and more soon enough.

Nice! I've been wanting to ride Kane Creek for sometime, good to hear it's a blast. I could see how in warmer weather, that creek would be a welcome chance to cool off.
