Hello, Just joined here.
I have a '86 Isuzu Trooper that I really enjoy cruizing around in. It's my daily driver and has a few mods.
I don't get too crazy off road, but I enjoy the mountains and my Trooper goes where I want to go.

Welcome. I had two Poopers that got me through high school. I think they do well, wish I could find a decent one for kicking around. My 86 was so much fun, It was blue and my friends would crawl in the huge back side windows. Round headlights make it look more Land Rover'ish. You are carbed right, still runs ok?

Ya, 2.3 Carb.
Actually runs great! I just rebuilt the engine for the first time @ 187K miles. I'm keeping an eye out for another good carb to keep on standby. It's only a matter of time till the throttle shaft wears out.
I'm getting 20+ MPG since the rebuild .

Good rigs. My parents put over 300K on two of them both '86 four door, 4 bangers one of them ran on three cylinders for 150k. Tough rigs to say the least.
