I finally got around to installing the gear rack in the back of the Jeep tonight and it fits perfectly! I'm still figuring out how everything will be situated but you get the idea.

Yes, it is screwed to the floor at all 4 "feet".

The base is, te rack itself is steel.. It's a PHOR rack. The whole setup is solid; I've rallied down some serious roads/trails with that rack loaded down.
