A couple of weeks ago there was a discussion going on aboout selling a bike to get a new one.....I believe it was Caleb in preperation to pick up his 500. Well to make a short story out of all this, I decided to sell my 08 300 xc and get something a little newer. At first I was looking at some '11 & '12's and had almost settled on one when I go the wild hair up my a$$ to sell the LS1/4l60e that had been sitting around for the last couple of years that was supposed to go in a 1936 Pontiac project we mothballed. When I sold that, it opened up the door for me to bring this home today.

I have a little bit of work in front of me to get it ready for the race next weekend. Right now I need to install my steering dampner, Turbine Core II silencer, skid plate and pipe guard before I break it in this weekend. The suspension is going to need a little work and I will have my heavier springs next week. After I get a little more money saved up I will do the Race Tech bladder kit to the rear shock, and gold valves for the forks.

That's from the Edge Motorsports...I have been there quite a bit recently :D Killer bike, just curious why the XC over the XC-W? Do you like the linked suspension? Nice bike for sure, I may add one to my garage next season :p (Don't worry, my wife is right there with your wife :D)

Congrats Paul! Is that the bike from Eagle?
I ended up going new

I went xc mainly because I don't have a big need for the lower 1 st gear. A 52t on the rear and shaving .002 off the head gives me all the low end lugging I need.
