don't get me wrong, I used to talk more crap on myspace than anyone and still do. But my beef is with people that use it as a socializing experience to meet random people (or worse yet, a dating tool) and will base perceptions of others from the content of their page. Too many idiots get jealous of perceived friend hierarchy’s that are falsely created on myspace and that is lame.
But, lucky for us we are all allowed to use it how we choose and take from it what we will. I have found it entertaining and nice to dink around on when I'm bored and see what some friends that I met in Orlando are up to, or some HS pals that have moved to New York etc etc. Just because the system is abuses by many, doesn't mean it can't be used by others.
I think people that have such a vehement hate towards myspace are about the same as those that claim to love PBR. It's just "cool" to hate it and people are so afraid to be associated with the image it has that the miss out on what it actually can be.
