I know the pic is originally from this post..........http://www.rockymountainextreme.com/showpost.php?p=160370&postcount=5.....and I assumed it was whitney. but I went back and look at the pic and it says its " a undamed lake" so thus I do not know.

Nope, Silver Lake is the one above Silver Flat Resevoir (1.75 mile hike) another mile and you will find Silver Glance Lake (never been there, yet )
