Nearby Canoe Size Lakes?

Thinking about taking the kids camping next weekend. They want to play around/in a lake. We will be taking canoes and kayaks, but nothing bigger. So tell me about lakes within ~4hours of Salt Lake, that is likely to have trailer camp spots available on Labor Day weekend. I don't care if there are any fish in the lake, I hate fishing. Preferably somewhere scenic/foresty.

Mill hollow is a favorite of mine, but you will likely have to camp in the overflow camping area which is not developed, but a car can make it up the road. No motorized craft allowed on the reservoir, so it's nice for paddling about.

Electric Lake is a great spot, clear water and minimal people fishing due to limited fish in the lake since they drained and filled it a few years ago.

I love Palisades State Park near Manti. Not sure if they will have any spots available, but well worth the drive if they do.

Trial, Washington, Lost lakes are awesome. You will have to get there early to get a spot this weekend tho. They have a bunch of first come first serve. Lost Creek campground is probably the best.

Causey is decent, great camping along the canyon up towards it.

I think I remember crazy insane mosquitos there last time. I may be remembering a different lake...
