Need a competent honest transmission person

The transmission in my brother's Silverado 2500 HD went south climbing the Scipio summit last weekend. I'm looking for an honest, competent transmission guy to take a look at it and possibly fix it. I'm nervous about taking it to a shop because every experience my family members have ever had with transmission shops has resulted in bad work or dishonesty. Let me know if you know of anyone. Lodder Automotive in Bountiful. Scott Lodder is one of the best. If you need the number they should be in the book. I know its a little bit of a distance from Springville but they do great work and honest.

Have had Transmissions Ltd. on State St. in Sandy do a number of different vehicles. Kevin there is one of the most honest mechanics that I know and they do good work. Don't have experience with any closer to you.

Go to J&M Transmission in Provo. Talk to the owner, Clayton Wright. He's into wheeling and a great guy with a great shop.
