It's finally time to install my GenRight long arm kit on the TJ but I need to find a rear axle truss. Tera has a great one but it's pricey. Does anyone know of a decent truss that's cheaper?

I'm pretty sure goats is a blue torch fab one, the whole axle is sitting in his garage right now ready for you to buy and bolt in

Check the truss out on mine Bart. I had Ben Hanks do it for me. I think it was somewhere around $200 or $250 installed with all the tabs and everything. Works great and looks great.

I bet the one you get one of your fabbing supercrawler buddies to make you is cheaper than all of those. Don't you know anyone anymore, old man? :cody:

:D heh. Kidding aside, bring someone beer and steel. Custom and it's good for humanity too, with all the personal interaction and all. :D

Hahaha, yeah, you'd think. Guess once you're out for a couple of years you're lost and forgotten.:greg:

I agree with Tacoma (AGAIN). If nothing else weld a couple of angel brackets like we did in the old (pun intended) days.

my 2c

if it's a TJ44 rear axle, get the BTF like mine. your axle will thank you for it. it's pretty tough to get an affordable universal 44 truss that has the prevision for the small OD TJ tubes.

you might try this. my 70 truss wasn't too bad
