Need to find a new CB

Pretty sure mine is shot. I get no power output registering on my SRW meter. The antenna is tunned just fine at 1.5 on channel 1 and 1.6 on 40. I've tried two different mic's one brand new both of which work fine when I switch over to the PA.

Flying J in Ogden didn't have any radio's and Radio Shack doesn't carry them in the store anymore. Anybody know where I can pick up a half way decent cheap radio in the Ogden or Layton area? I really need to pick one up by mid day tomorrow. I suppose I could pick one up on my way to HITR tomorrow afternoon so anywhere along the way would work too.

Out here in the Uinta Basin they have them at Wally World... Radio Shack... And the home electronics places... Pretty easy to find out here I unfortunately have no idea where you could get one out there.

I usually hit the truck stops for CB stuff...

I personally run a corba 19DX, my brother and dad run a uniden something or rother...

I hate walmart too...

I'm guessing it's the mic (even though you swapped it out). My mic broke on my Uniden. x3 on avoiding wallmart.

Just picked up this little guy for cheap.... seems to work as good as my cobra while out at 5 Mile.

look at pawn shops if you have time! I found mine for $10 and it works great! it's a 1979 model, but a pretty good one I think.....

I ended up getting a cheap one from Walmart, it works good enough for trail rides.

I use to have a website where you could buy ones that have already been tuned up to max power... they worked great and were very strong radios...

Www.sparkyscbshack.com has been great to myself and a lot of guys I work with. Great prices, no hassle. He doesn't answer the phone though, too busy tuning. He doesn't charge extra for tuning, its included in the price.
